I’m sure many of you are familiar with the common Christmas Carol puzzles where a series of images representing different song titles must be decifered. I am a huge fan and also a little terrible at them.
I wanted to be able to bring in this type of game for my residents so I created a very simple version. It includes some picture puzzles, but also some fill-in the blanks and word scrambles. I’ve really enjoyed using this game because it has a variety of difficulty levels that makes it very accessible. I usually cut/fold the clues and put them inside a tambourine or drum having each resident pull their own clue for a fine motor challenge. After the clue is decifered, we of course proceed to sing the designated song. Hope you enjoy this easy/fun spin on a holiday game/sing along!
